Policy

PAYMENTS & PRICING:

All prices at Artistic Alchemy are subject to change at any time and will be effective immediately upon posting on www.artisticalchemy. The full amount of the deposit is due upfront. We do offer payment plans. NO DESIGNS will be started without payment.

LATE FEES:

You must have your product pictures, product names, prices, and any other materials needed to

complete your design sent to our email (content@caliinnovations.com) within 48 hours of placing your order. If you fail to do so, you will be charged a late fee of $5 for every day your materials are late.

The late fee payment must be made before any work is done on your project. If you fail to submit your materials 15 days after the order date, your services WILL be canceled with a 50% REFUND.

REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS:

Cali Innovations Media & Marketing does not provide refunds for any series of projects unless agreed upon. Wanting to use another business or having buyer's remorse is not a suitable means for a refund. Once payment has been made, the project will begin and the final design will be returned to the client in the turnaround time frame given (Note: Turnaround times vary amongst projects or amount of projects. An ample 1-2 business days may be needed because there may be revisions that need to be done and/or prior projects may have paid a fee to request that their order to be rushed.)

If you would like to cancel an order you have already paid for, Cali Innovations WILL NOT refund any of the payment already received unless it is an issue on our behalf. If we cancel your order due to not receiving the information needed for a project in the allotted timeframe, you will be eligible for a refund of 50% of the amount that has been paid

DRAFTS:

Draft images of ANY kind are only used for approval. They are not to be manipulated, copied or taken for personal use. ALL drafts are property of Cali Innovations.

REVISIONS:

For all projects done by Cali Innovations Media & Marketing, there is a three (3) free revision limit. After three revisions, any additional revisions will be $5.00 each. For larger-scale projects such as packages or web design, the revision limit is four (4). This is to ensure that you receive your project(s) within the set turnaround time and to ensure a steady workflow. You must reply to emails/messages that contain drafts within 24 hours, to ensure that revisions can be completed and sent back to you in an appropriate amount of time. If you do not respond to an email/message containing drafts within 24 hours you will be moved to the back of the order list and your order will be completed at a later time.

DESIGNS:

It is important to have some kind of vision for your business so it can be relayed to me. If you would like

me to freestyle on your project, be aware that our creative visions may not align.

Clients are required to submit all HIGH quality pictures.
PLEASE refrain from using dull cell phone images.
PLEASE DO NOT send Snapchat edited photos, photos with words on them, or photos that have been harshly edited.
Note: Vendor photos/ stock photos are less credible and professional.
Please make sure ALL text/information given is spell-checked, proofread before sending, and is not
subject to copyright.
Once completed, you also give Cali Innovations Media & Marketing the right to use for portfolio and/or marketing purposes unless agreed upon otherwise.

LOGOS:

It is important that you have some type of vision, color scheme, and/or font in mind when purchasing a logo.

● Freestyle logos will not be redone if they do not match the vision of clients.

● Once the design is finished, a draft will be sent to you for the purpose of approval only. If it is

designed to your approval, the watermark will be removed and you will be sent your final design.

WEBSITES:

There are several different web hosts: All sites are hosted on Cali Innovations Media & Marketing cloud servers unless through Shopify & Wix.

Websites require a lot of detailed information from the customer/client. Be sure to fill out the Website Form as accurately as possible with as much information as you have.

Websites outside of the packages will be quoted separately, despite the number of products you have or app features and emails attached to the project.

● Custom domain is not included in price & must be purchased separately, from whichever site you choose. (You can have Cali Innovations research and purchase the domain or you may choose your own domain.)

● Pixelated images or poor quality cell phone images as NOT satisfactory product pictures.

● Turnaround time begins once all information is received from the client.

BUSINESS CARDS/CLOTHING TAGS/ PEN DESIGN/ MAGNETS/STICKERS ETC:

● Design is available

● Printing Services are available

● Digital options are also available per request

*Note* Packages may take longer due to COVID-19 or other international conflicts.

TIMEFRAMES:

Turnaround time is 7-14 business days for designs and 14-30 business days for web design, branding packages & orders with 4+ designs (excluding Sat, Sun, vacations & holidays). Turnaround time begins once the signed contract & design forms are received. E-commerce sites are different and your turnaround time will reflect in your proposal.

It is extremely important that the client allows Cali Innovations Media & Marketing to work on the project without interruptions and/or rude rush comments. Business days do not include Saturday, Sunday, holidays, or vacations.

If a vacation is near, you will be informed via email a week before. All projects will resume when

the vacation is over.

** A copy of our policy will be sent to you once the order is placed. It must be signed & dated before the project is started.

Maintenance Fee's

All work completed by Cali Innovations is billed on a monthly basis. Work includes design, programming, and other services but does not include hosting. If your site is in development then you will get billed for any work completed during those months. If your requested minor updates to your site then you will get billed for the work completed that month.

Maintenance fees are due in advance and you have payment options (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually). Website projects in development that are not paid in a timely manner can be put on hold.

Maintenance fees are part of the contractual agreement and can be canceled by paying a one-time fee of $200.00. There is a monthly late fee on invoices overdue for 1 day.

For all plans, a card is required to remain on file for billing.

We DO NOT accept Cash App, Venmo, or Zelle as a form of payment. All payments must be through the Cali Innovations system.

To keep down any fraud, we do not accept prepaid cards on recurring monthly charges.

If you pay your bills on time, we sincerely thank you and there is no need for you to read any further.

We believe my agreement with you is simple — We will provide website-related services and all we ask is that you pay us in a timely manner. I do not need reminders to manage your Web presence; therefore, We believe you shouldn’t need several reminders to pay me.

Payments not received 1 day after the invoice date will cause your account to be considered past-due and will acquire a late fee of $15.00 a month.

After 14 days, if payment hasn't been received, your site will be scheduled for suspension. This applies to Wix, Shopify, and maintenance fee accounts.

If payment has still not been received by the next month’s statement, We will send an email or letter notifying you of a pending date of termination. If no payment has been received by the date stated in the termination email or letter, your service will be disconnected and your account may be turned over to a collection agency.

In addition to the above emails or letters that will be sent, I will also attempt to contact you regarding your late payment at least once via email and once via telephone. If there is a reason for not remitting your payment in a timely fashion, it is your responsibility to notify us. Cali Innovations Media & Marketing will entertain reasonable payment option requests in an attempt to prevent termination of service.

Charges for Services Performed

Functionality or feature requests above and beyond those listed in the budget and/or the functionality specs may be considered out-of-scope and an amendment to the budget will be recommended. Projects that go dormant for longer than 45 days will incur a fee to resume work at the discretion of Cali Innovations Media & Marketing

If your account does become terminated or suspended, you can restore your service by paying the following charges:

- $50 reconnection fee per hosted domain
- All past due balances including the 1.5% interest on the entire balance
- Maintenance fees paid 3 months in advance

This is required each time you default on a payment

LOGO &GRAPHIC DESIGN

Logo design/ Graphic Design

100% of the logo design project is due upfront (unless stated otherwise on your proposal/quote). The invoice must be paid upon receipt.

BILLING AND SCHEDULE

100% of the project total is due to the signing of this logo design proposal or before any designer starts a project.

(If the payment is more than15 days after the invoice date, there is a late fee of $50.00USD. If the payment is more than 30 days after the invoice date, Cali Innovations will assess interest equal to one percent of the unpaid balance for each month, or a portion of the month the balance is unpaid. Interest accrues retroactively from the due date. If the invoice is unpaid for more than 90 days, Cali Innovations will refer to the collection of the unpaid amount to an attorney or collections agency. If the unpaid invoices are referred to an attorney or collections agency, you shall pay all reasonable attorney’s fees or collections agency fees in addition to the late fee and accrued interest.)
